Master the Art of the Half-Shell

Want to become a shucking ninja!  An immersive, hands-on class designed to teach newbies as well as "rusty shuckers" looking to hone their skills! 

Each class is led by trained instructors w/ real oyster farming experience.  Learn step by step how to pry open a briny bivalve in a skillful & safe way whilst also learning about our industry w/ fun facts & stories.

Private bookings available for team-building, bachelorette parties & family/friend gatherings.

What to Expect?

  • The Oysters: 12 oysters per shucker from 2 different local Maine oyster farms allowing for compare & contrast of flavor, brine, minerality & more.  
  • The Instruction: Learn the "hinge-and-pop" method safely and efficiently from the pros.
  • The Tools: We will provide shucking knives, protective gloves, accessories & accompanients like lemons, mignonette, cocktail sauce.
  • For Purchase (Bev): Local craft beer,  curated & complemeting white wines, delicious cocktails 
  • For Purchase (Food): Red Snapper Hot Dogs &  Maine Lobster Rolls (in season)
