Two months later and us and our guests are still ranting and raving about how delicious the food was, how well the staff read to room with their bar service, oysters, apps, dinner and rolling out the cake. Maine Oyster Co is absolutely incredible!! We originally looked into the Maine Oyster Co to host a welcome shucking class for our rehearsal dinner, but after a few conversations with Bryn and John, it seemed like the perfect fit for our wedding reception! And it worked out PERFECTLY! Bryn and John were so helpful and insightful throughout the entire planning process, which was very much appreciated. The knowledge and passion the staff has for oysters added such a fun and unique aspect to the night. The food was incredible and everything was cooked to perfection! The restaurant was cozy and intimate and fit our group of 22 well.
On June 21, 2024 Maine Oyster Co. hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for my son and his bride-to-be, along with 33 other guests. Bryn Jerome was our primary contact at MO for this event. She was amazing to work with. She coordinated all the food and drink prep, table setups and decorations. All of the guests who attended were awestruck by the venue, by the staff and by the meal (lobster bake). It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for quintessential Maine, with incredibly friendly and attentive staff this is the place for you. The evening could not have been better. Many thanks to Bryn, John, Sean and Aubrey for an amazing night that my son and his new bride will remember forever.
Booking my wife's birthday party at Maine Oyster Company was the best choice I could have made. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. The space was perfect for our sized group(around 25 people, but could have fit more comfortably). The atmosphere is super cozy and inviting. Sean helped walk me through the planning of the party. From drinks to food, he was easy to work with and very helpful in staying within our budget. The party was a huge hit! Everything from the food, to the bar, to the karaoke(which we brought) was awesome. Got a ton of compliments from our guests and my wife had a great birthday! The food is better than you can imagine!
