Yarmouth Oyster Company started 8 years ago from a love of the ocean and having been brought up on Malpeque oysters in the Maritimes.
We are a small family run farm that has transitioned through a number of different growing methods to find the perfect method that matches the environment and produces the best flavor in a sturdy shell.
Our farm is unique as it sits in the middle of casco bay on a small area of flats that get exposed at low tides. Since it is a bottom plant farm we do all our farming on the low tides.
