The stoke is as real as it’s ever been here at Maine Oyster Company as approach our 1 year anniversary party this upcoming Saturday, October 12th; only to be outdone by the Maine Oysterfest  the following weekend. We’re just a dozen days out until we’ll be shucking more than 833 dozen oysters, with more than 30 growers representing their oysters, at Brick South at Thompson’s Point! The countdown is on as we finalize our giveaways, goodie bags, and all the exciting things in the works.
Harvest on the Harbor is a really exciting event to be apart of as their effort is coined as “bringing people together for unique culinary experiences that encompass Portland, Maine’s food scene.” Over the 4 day period, 8 dynamic events are put on and we’re elated that the Maine Oyster Fest is happening Saturday afternoon. The all inclusive event allows you to enjoy food, drinks, and live music at each event you purchase tickets for.
Another exciting thing we so appreciate about this event is that Harvest on the Harbor is committed to helping local organizations and for 2019 the Festival is proud to be supporting: Full Plates Full Potential, Maine Aquaculture Association, and Southern Maine Community College Culinary Arts.
