Join us for a unique, educational & hands on Maine oyster farm tour experience at our coastal headquarters "Basecamp Lodge in Phippsburg, about an hours drive from Portland.

- Motor boat trip to our in-house oyster farm

- 12 oyster "Learn How to Shuck" class

What to Expect & Bring?
The Maine oyster farm tour experience all in is about 2 hrs.
Tour flow is as follows, but can easily be customized as needed/desired.
- Arrive @ Basecamp Lodge, 47 Wallace Circle, Phippsburg, ME
- Welcome, overview, education & safety talks
- 10 min boat trip each way over to the farm & "farm float" w/ hands on experiential learning.
- Return to Basecamp Lodge for a "Learn How to Shuck an Oyster" class
Suggested Checklist of Items to Bring
- Layered, comfortable clothing
- Bathing Suit (can swim off floats)
- Hat, Sunscreen, Bug Spray
- BYOB Alcoholic beverages
Basecamp Lodge is our private facility w/ all guests are welcome to stay & enjoy the space & area for as long as they would like after the official oyster farm tour experience has finished.
